- Technology: GE, OEC - C-arms, Carestream Portables Job Summary Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist – CT performs computerized tomographic radiological procedures and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. The technologist operates imaging equipment, prepares patients for procedures, and ensures safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities

Perform CT examinations and general diagnostic radiology procedures as assigned.

Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly.

Review clinical information and patient history to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are performed.

Operate CT and radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Follow established imaging protocols, radiation safety procedures, and ALARA principles.

Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to patient needs.

Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.

Ensure imaging equipment and examination areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.

Maintain required supplies and support efficient daily operations.

Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service.
Qualifications
Required
-
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.

Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Ability to maintain required continuing education hours.
Required Certification & Licensure
-
Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or CT registry-eligible.

Current BLS/BCLS certification.
Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
