  • 7p-7a, every other weekend Schedule Notes
  • Required Education: High School Diploma
  • Certification: BLS and ARRT - R
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year
  • Technology: GE, OEC - C-arms, Carestream Portables Job Summary Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist – CT performs computerized tomographic radiological procedures and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. The technologist operates imaging equipment, prepares patients for procedures, and ensures safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations and general diagnostic radiology procedures as assigned.

  • Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly.

  • Review clinical information and patient history to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are performed.

  • Operate CT and radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Follow established imaging protocols, radiation safety procedures, and ALARA principles.

  • Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to patient needs.

  • Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.

  • Ensure imaging equipment and examination areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.

  • Maintain required supplies and support efficient daily operations.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service.


Qualifications
Required

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Ability to maintain required continuing education hours.

Required Certification & Licensure

  • Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • Advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or CT registry-eligible.

  • Current BLS/BCLS certification.


Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
