RN - Operating Room Circulator

Title: RN - Operating Room Circulator Location: Onsite - Clinton Township, MI Shift Hours

• Monday-Friday, 2-8hr shift and 2- 12hr shifts Alternating weekends with staff q4th week (1-12hr day) Schedule Notes
• Candidate must have BLS Job Summary Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and their families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of appropriate solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide effective patient care.

• Provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and patient/family teaching.

• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate nursing care plans.

• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

• Identify variances from established patient goals and participate in finding appropriate solutions.

• Ensure identified solutions are implemented effectively.

• Provide a wide variety of professional nursing services within the assigned unit or department.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nursing interventions.

• Follow established hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and nursing practices.

• Support quality improvement and patient care initiatives within the assigned department.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.

• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Ability to coordinate, delegate, supervise, and document patient care appropriately.

• Ability to identify variances from patient goals and participate in developing and implementing solutions.

• Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered healthcare environment.

Required Certification & Licensure

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing required.

• BLS certification required.

Additional Requirements

• Must maintain current nursing licensure and required certifications.

• Must demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.

• Must be able to provide compassionate, quality patient care while working within the assigned unit or department.

Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
