Title: Radiology Tech/X-Ray Tech
Location: Onsite - Detroit, MI
Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs computerized tomography (CT) radiological procedures on patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. May also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Ensures accurate imaging procedures, maintains patient safety and comfort, and performs related duties as required.

Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on patients under general supervision.
- Perform general diagnostic radiology examinations as assigned.
- Prepare patients and equipment for CT and diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Follow established imaging protocols and departmental procedures.
- Operate CT and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain patient safety and provide appropriate care throughout examinations.
- Follow radiation safety practices and applicable regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation related to imaging procedures.
- Maintain required continuing education hours and professional competency.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Must maintain the required hours of continuing education.
- Ability to perform CT and general diagnostic radiology procedures.
- Knowledge of radiologic imaging procedures, equipment, and patient safety practices.
- Ability to follow established protocols and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and members of the healthcare team.
- Ability to work under general supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in CT or diagnostic radiology is preferred, where applicable.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced Computed Tomography (CT) registry through ARRT or registry-eligible.
- Healthcare Provider Certification (BLS/BCLS) required.
- Current registration in Radiography with ARRT.
